MILO Choco Puto Cheese
Ingredients
- For the choco mixture:
- 1½ cups cocoa powder
- ½ cup Milo powder
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 cup hot water
- For the puto mixture:
- 1½ cups flour
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1½ tbsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 pcs eggs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- sliced cheese for toppings
Instructions
- First, let’s make the choco mixture. Combine the cocoa powder, Milo powder, white sugar and hot water in a mixing bowl. Mix well then set aside.
- In a separate mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients except for the cheese. Mix well.
- Add the prepared choco mixture then mix. If the mixture is kind of dry, add some more water. (To mix it better, use an electric hand mixer)
- Pour the mixture in puto molders with cupcake liners. Arrange them properly in the steamer.
- Steam for about 8-10 minutes. After that, add sliced cheese on top of each cooked puto. Steam again for 2 minutes.
- Remove each puto from the molders then serve.
- Enjoy your choco puto with cheese!
