MILO Choco Puto Cheese

Ingredients

  • For the choco mixture:
  • 1½ cups cocoa powder
  • ½ cup Milo powder
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 cup hot water
  • For the puto mixture:
  • 1½ cups flour
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1½ tbsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 pcs eggs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • sliced cheese for toppings

Instructions

  1. First, let’s make the choco mixture. Combine the cocoa powder, Milo powder, white sugar and hot water in a mixing bowl. Mix well then set aside.
  2. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients except for the cheese. Mix well.
  3. Add the prepared choco mixture then mix. If the mixture is kind of dry, add some more water. (To mix it better, use an electric hand mixer)
  4. Pour the mixture in puto molders with cupcake liners. Arrange them properly in the steamer.
  5. Steam for about 8-10 minutes. After that, add sliced cheese on top of each cooked puto. Steam again for 2 minutes.
  6. Remove each puto from the molders then serve.
  7. Enjoy your choco puto with cheese!
